Lauren Lofgren, communications director for Kids 360° Early Learning Academy, says she’s excited for the new state-of-the-art preschool to open later this year.
The preschool, located inside the new Wright’s 360° Movement Academy, creates a unique learning environment for young children.
“The building is owned by both Casey Wright and Tate Schuetz,” says Lofgren. “We will open in August. We have already started pre-registrations and will organize tours of the building in June.
It is a one-of-a-kind kindergarten for children aged 3 to 5.
“Backed by science, our progressive movement-based curriculum prepares the brain for learning, improves sensory-motor integration, and helps children build healthy life skills,” says Lofgren.
Lofgren notes that there are many benefits to preschool to help children develop their brains at a young age. Staff members believe that the earlier children start learning, the better.
“Our motto is ‘Flex your brain,” says Lofgren. “We think so. Research has shown that physical activity positively affects the part of our brain responsible for learning and memory.
At Kids 360° Early Learning Academy, the goal is to help develop children who are healthy, active, confident and ready to learn.
“Our graduates will not only be academically prepared, but with a better developed vestibular system,” says Lofgren. “They will be able to be more attentive, to think independently, to be physically patient and to be emotionally regulated. Our preschoolers will exercise their brains to become the best learners possible. »
Lofgren adds that early registration is now open for the fall 2022 school year.
Lofgren notes that Kids 360° is a non-profit organization.
“Our mission is to be leaders in movement-based early education and show how a program designed around rapid vestibular stimulation does just that,” she says. “We will actively track our children’s movements via wearable fitness trackers. Our hope is that expansive space and intentional movement will become the norm for early childhood education.
The Academy‘The 1,000 square foot classrooms extend both outdoors and into their 35,000 square foot indoor gym. The unique program will allow children to explore and experience learning. Staff think 3 year olds shouldn’t‘t be required to remain seated. They encourage children to wiggle all day.
Lofgren says the academy‘s staff also believe that all children deserve to develop strong bodies, brains and muscles. So they created an environment designed to promote movement and learning at the same time. They believe that children‘ we must give free rein to the imagination and create class communities where we feel at home.
