Hillsborough County – Hillsborough County Launches 2023 Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program

The program promotes healthy, safe and engaged neighborhoods

Hillsborough County Neighborhood Relations is now accepting applications for the 2023 Neighborhood Mini-Grants Program. The popular program offers exciting project categories aimed at bringing neighbors together and building community involvement.

The 2023 Neighborhood Mini-Grants Program provides up to $5,000 in funding to neighborhood organizations that foster healthy, safe, and engaged communities through innovative and creative community projects.

The 2023 Neighborhood Mini-Grant project categories are:
• Identification of the district
• Empowerment of leaders
• Safety opportunities and education
• Environmental improvements
• Commitment to health and wellness
• Preparing the neighborhood
• Neighborhood and community innovation

Registration deadline
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Monday, November 14. Visit theNeighborhood Mini-Grant Webpage to learn more about the application process, requirements and to complete the application.

Eligibility
Civic associations, homeowners associations, or special tax districts in Hillsborough County are eligible, including those in Tampa, Plant City, and Temple Terrace. Neighborhood organizations must be registered in the Neighborhood Directory before applying for a mini-grant.

Before applying for a mini-grant
If your organization is not on the list of neighborhood directories, please submit a Neighborhood Directory Listing App on line. Prior to applying for a mini-grant, your organization must receive a confirmation email from Hillsborough County Neighborhood Relations that your organization has met the requirements and is now listed in the directories.
