Freedom is worth it | Opinion
I agree with conservative commentator William F. Buckley when he said, “I’d rather be governed by the first 2,000 people in the Boston telephone book than by the 2,000 people of the University faculty.” from Harvard. Amen.
A recent study by Johns Hopkins University showed that Covid lockdowns had very little effect on the death rate. The average person who wasn’t drawn into fantasy already knew that. Common sense disappeared with all the stupid burdens placed on people, which ended up doing more harm than good.
We now have modern mass hysteria linked to Covid-19. Once the politicians who never let a crisis pass discovered that they could play some of us like puppets, they went into overdrive on forced lockdowns, masks and vaccines. If he walks like a totalitarian and quacks like a totalitarian, what else could it be?
There will always be a segment of the population that yearns to be told what to do. The rest of us want to be left alone. Some people were afraid and want us to be in misery too. It drives them absolutely mad that we don’t claim that masks and vaccines work, and that hospitals don’t make a lot of money from Covid. Everyone knows that masks are a sham and a control and torture device.
Even a rabid liberal like Bill Maher says, “It seems like liberals are always suggesting sacrifices they don’t have to participate in.” Indeed, Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi and other elites were caught with their masks down, while forcing little kids to wear stuffy stuff all day.
Elites, we are upon you. We see your “woke” companies like GoFundMe trying to redirect (another word for stealing) funds destined for the Freedom Convoy of truckers in Canada. We outnumber you. I pray that the truckers bring the corrupt government of Canada to its knees.
I also pray that American truckers will participate, even if it means sacrifice for us. Freedom is worth it.
